The Beta's Heart: A Five Fangs Novel by Mary Ann Weir
He only sees his scars. She only sees his courage. Together, they’ll overcome his past.
Tyler James. Everyone in Five Fangs knows his tragic story. His father’s madness, his mother’s murder, and the brutal end of Seymour James at the fangs of Alpha Jayden’s wolf. Since he was twelve, Tyler has lived in the pack orphanage, struggling to control his childlike wolf, River, whose outbursts often end in chaos, but now he’s ready to close that chapter.
Promoted to beta, he sees a glimmer of hope for a fresh start. Not everyone in Five Fangs is thrilled about the alphas’ decision, however, and Ty feels the pressure as he learns his new role, confronts his naysayers, and grapples with his unstable wolf—all while trying to protect his fragile luna.
With his eighteenth birthday on the horizon, Tyler dares to dream of finding his mate, but he knows how his story goes by now. Heartbreak and loss seem to be his fate. After all, the Moon Goddess doesn’t bless broken guys like him with a happily ever after...
Or does she?

My Review:
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I really enjoyed this book. I like seeing Tyler and Perry's story being the main story and not a secondary story to her brother's story. So, you get to know the characters more
