Review: The Wrong Pitch by Brittany Taylor

Image
The Wrong Pitch by Brittany Taylor I couldn’t possibly have been more wrong the night I’d tackled Hunter Moore to the ground in the middle of the night. To be fair, the street was pitch-black, the wheel to my suitcase had popped off, and I found myself face to face with a stranger charging at me. My instincts had kicked in, and instead, I’d landed him straight on his back with my knee pressed to his chest. Turns out, the stranger I’d tackled to the ground was my brother’s roommate… which meant he was also mine. With my dreams coming to a screeching halt, I was left with no other choice than to move in with my brother and his roommates. Hunter Moore was star pitcher for the Northeast Rebels. Although I’d found his incessant talk of baseball obnoxious, I couldn’t help but relate to how deep his passion ran. Even if our dreams were completely different. With a shared bathroom and a single wall between our bedrooms, we couldn't resist pushing the boundaries. Potent green

Review: Frozen Hearts by R.A. Smyth

Image
Frozen Hearts by R.A. Smyth Halston University was supposed to be my fresh start, my chance to prove I can stand on my own, except it’s not only passing classes I have to worry about. Secrets…Desperation…Shattered Dreams… my life is one big balancing act. But what happens if I fall? And then there’s them - three guys, each with their own darkness and allure. My demons. There’s Logan, the golden boy on the ice, who believes in soulmates and love at first sight. He sees me, really sees me, and I can't help but feel drawn to him. Royce, the brooding one. He's like a storm, unpredictable and dangerous, pushing me to confront parts of myself I'd long buried and awakening something dark within me. Every interaction is charged with venom and desire, a twisted dance that's both enthralling and frightening. Then there's Grayson, my estranged stepbrother, dead set on revenge. Plotting my demise in the shadows of his ire and resentment, even as it threatens to consume u

Review: All In by Bella Matthews

Image
All in by Bella Matthews Nothing prepared me for meeting Brady Ryan. I’ve been called football royalty my entire life. Born into a family that has experienced the highs and lows of the game. Constantly surrounded by football players and coaches. Now I’m following my father across the country for yet another team. I’m supposed to be spending this year finding myself, but can I do that with Brady by my side, or is he just another player? Natalie Sinclair came into my world and changed my life. Her father was the new professional coach in town, and her twin brother played on my team. This tiny dancer fit into our circle of friends like she was the missing piece. Neither of us might have been looking for something serious, but that changed the day we met. Now nothing can keep her from me. Not her twin brother. Not the threats of a jealous ex. Not even myself. Now I just need to convince her. She’s it for me. She’s the end game. I’m all in. My Review: My rating: 5 of 5 stars I reall

Review: Pucking Wildby Emily Rath

Image
Pucking Wild by Emily Rath Tess Owens is a confident, 33-year-old plus-sized divorcee daring to start her life over in a new job in a new city. In the process, she meets Ryan Langley, starting forward for the NHL’s Jacksonville Rays. Sure, he’s cute, in a puppy at the beach kind of way. But he’s ten years younger than her, and they have nothing in common. But to Ryan, Tess is his dream girl. He’s ready to do anything to show her that age doesn’t matter, our pasts don’t define us, and just sometimes, two wrongs can make a right. PUCKING WILD is a spicy MF hockey romance with positive plus size and bisexual representation. This is book two in the Jacksonville Rays series. My Review: My rating: 5 of 5 stars I really like this  book. This is really good, and I can't wait to read more this author and finish the series If you don't want to see what the make set of characters has in store for them.

Review: My Heart to Hold by S.B. Alexander

Image
My Heart to Hold by S.B. Alexander Girls fall in love with what they hear. QUINN THOMPSON I’m head over heels in love with Maiken Maxwell. Everything about him is so perfect from his sandy-blond hair to his kissable lips. Not to mention, he writes me poems. My stomach is constantly filled with butterflies from his sweet words to how special and pretty he makes me feel. Until one girl, one funeral, and one disastrous moment shatters everything. MAIKEN MAXWELL My life has been a series of the good, the bad, and the ugly. My junior year is starting off with a bang. My brother Marcus, now a freshman in high school, is out of control, fighting and mouthing off to teachers. I shouldn’t care so much. After all, he’s a teenager who is trying to find his way, trying to fit in. But I do care. I’m his big brother. But when a new girl waltzes into our lives, the three things that matter the most to me, family, Quinn Thompson, and basketball, slowly become a distant memory. Reading Order My

Review: My Heart to Keep by S.B. Alexander

My Heart to Keep by S.B. Alexander Love is not a game! Quinn A summer bash on the farm kicks off our official year as seniors. It’s my first time hosting a party, and it’s sure to be the talk of the school when we return in the fall. But a brawl is not what I had in mind for people to remember. To make matters worse, senior year erupts with a bang, and I mean literally. Pranks and mayhem break out, and the blame is pinned on me. None of that matters when my life takes a turn I’m not expecting. Senior year is supposed to be fun and exciting, and mine is anything but, especially when I turn to Maiken for a shoulder to cry on and he’s not there. I can’t worry about him. I have my own problems, and if I can’t crawl out from under them, I might lose everything important to me. Maiken My basketball season was toast last year due to my injury, and I vow to do everything in my power to have the perfect season. I can’t afford to screw up if I want scouts to notice me. But I also w
