Beta Reading Services

 Beta Reading Services

5 slots total

Have you completed multiple drafts of your manuscript? Do you think that you might be ready for the next step? But are you still a little unsure? A beta reader might be what you need. They offer you constructive and honest feedback that will help you move to the next step.

What Does a Beta Reader Do?

As a beta reader, I will read a manuscript from a reader’s perspective and provide the writer with feedback. I will look at those ‘bigger picture’ problems that you might be having—from plot inconsistency to characterization. This feedback can then be used by you to help sort those suckers out. Beta readers are not editors because of that they won’t proofread or edit your work.

Why Do You Need a Beta Reader?

Beta Readers provide objective, honest and constructive feedback that will help improve your manuscript. Their feedback comes from the perspective of a reader, therefore, giving you some insight on how your future readers might read it.

Why Should You Hire Me?

I’ve been reading and reviewing books as Kaelie's Reads for nearly three years now. Therefore, I have a wide knowledge of the current state of the publishing industry. I provide honest and helpful responses to your work to help you move onto the next stage of your publishing journey.

I have high attention to detail and will ensure that your manuscript stands up to industry standards in terms of story and structure and will include insights on where it will fit in the market. As a diverse reader myself, I will look carefully into the diversity of the book and ensuring that it doesn’t fault or hurt anyone.
