I LOVE to read traditional (large and small press), Indie and self-published novels in the following genres:

 All books may be submitted to kaeliesreadsblog@gmail.com for consideration.  Please note that not all submissions will be accepted.  Please include in your email

No compensation or payment is received in exchange for an honest review.  Reviews are posted to my blog, Goodreads. I will forward you a link when my review goes live. If your book is accepted and I cannot finish it or cannot give it a good rating, I will contact you to provide you with feedback as to why I cannot post my review.

Kaelie’s Reads rating structure:

  • 1 star & 2 star – this book was not something I enjoyed and, in some cases, may have chosen not to finish – I will most likely not review; I will try to provide the author/publisher with constructive feedback.
  • 3 stars: pretty good – I enjoyed this book, there were positive elements of this book.
  • 3.5 stars: Good – this was a good read for me maybe a great concept that fell short on execution.
  • 4 stars: Very good – well worth the read, when I think back, I remember the book and it makes me smile. 
  • 4.5 stars: Excellent – almost a perfect read; a book that calls you while you are doing something else and that sticks with you after you are done. 
  • 5 stars Outstanding – a must read – I likely found a top character here as I believe often times a great story is about that character you love. 

·         5 plus stars – this will be awarded in rare occasions when a book is something I just can’t shake.  

My goal is to provide professional and heartfelt reviews about the books and authors I adore. I feel that is best way to accomplished this is by taking my time to write in-depth reviews for the books at the top of my rating scale. 

Please share your constructive feedback with me, it is how I learn and grow.

    Review: Wicked Minds by R.A. Smyth

    Wicked Minds by R.A. Smyth I may have escaped their house but there is no running from Grayson, Royce, and Logan. Not when Royce knows my most precious secret, Logan refuses to let me go, and Grayson hates to see me remotely happy. As if I don’t have enough to deal with already, between worrying about my daughter and dodging my sleazy boss, not to mention keeping up my grades, now I have to worry about what Royce might do with my secret while attempting to get over Logan and avoid Grayson at all costs. Except Halston is a small campus, and at least one of them keeps showing up in my life. It makes forgetting they exist impossible. However, when shit hits the fan, they’re the ones I end up turning to. The only ones I can trust. Who knew my life would only get more complicated second semester? My Review: My rating: 3 of 5 stars This book was okay. The Split was okay, but I feel like this story is being drawn out more than when it needs to be.
