Image
Dirty Rich Obsession by Lisa Renee Jones A MAN OF CONTROL. A WOMAN WHO'S ABOUT TO TAKE IT. Reid Maxwell is one of the top corporate attorneys and one of the most eligible bachelors in New York City. He likes his wins big, his women beautiful and in bed, not out, and most importantly the deep burn of his past buried. Until one woman, a most unexpected woman, challenges him in ways that might just destroy the invincible Mr. Maxwell. Carrie West is captive to Reid Maxwell and a debt between their families she doesn't know exists. It should be so simple for Reid Maxwell. Claim the company that is now his. The problem: he's now obsessed with Carrie, the daughter of the man he's destined to destroy. Now who's captive to who? My Review: My rating: 4 of 5 stars This book is  okay. This book was o k I felt like it was very slow I ended up finishing it and I preferred the end more than I did the rest of the story.

Title: Centaur Bolt Author: Ellie Horn Genre: Dark Why Choose Romance About Centaur Bolt:   My tall, dark, and gorgeous ex-Centaur warrior is not only broken, but he needs a hero. Thanks to my newly discovered talent, it seems like I’m the only one who fits the bill. But it turns out the Dragon who is keeping him company is more than just an ordinary kind of trouble. The Warrior Hearts Academy Centaur Trilogy is a dark, slow burn, paranormal/fantasy romance where the strong female main character has many love interests that she doesn’t have to choose between. You must read Centaur Rift before this book. Bolt ends on a cliffhanger, but a happily-ever-after is guaranteed in Soar. This series contains subject matter best suited for mature readers... Review: Undeniable by Jenna Hartley

Image
Undeniable by Jenna Hartley Connor is my opposite in almost every way. I’m a bookworm; he’s a bodyguard. I have trouble speaking up for myself; he’s direct, brash even. But the more I get to know my new pen pal, the more I see beneath the former navy SEAL’s tough exterior. He’s a hero, and he’s hurting. But he’s also so much more than he gives himself credit for. It doesn’t matter that we live on opposite sides of the country and have never laid eyes on each other. We talk every day, sometimes for hours. Our attraction is undeniable, and our growing connection is becoming impossible to ignore. But when Connor asks to meet, I can’t help but worry that our chemistry won’t be enough. That I won’t be enough. * Undeniable was previously published as a 40,000 word novella, Unwritten. It has since been expanded to and reimagined to a full-length novel of over 70,000 words, though the feel of the story remains the same. My Review: My rating: 5 of 5 stars This is an arc review pro

Review: On the Edge by Julia Connors

Image
On the Edge by Julia Connors I lost everything because of him. He says he would give anything to get me back. Once upon a time I had it all: an Olympic gold medal, a career as a professional ski racer, and a happily ever after so close I could almost touch it. Then my perfect life imploded in one tragic weekend. Five years later I’ve rebuilt my life with the best girlfriends, the perfect new boyfriend, and a new career. Now my ex—the one who wrecked everything five years earlier—is back as the newest member of the National Ski Team and I’m forced to be his physical therapist. My days are filled with him. He’s constantly shirtless and sweaty and sexy as sin, and trying to make me fall in love with him again. But I built these walls around my heart for a reason—and his presence is threatening to undo everything I've created without him. With the stakes this high and the sexual tension this hot, this could all go so very wrong. Or, maybe we’re on the edge of getting everything

Review: Rachel by Serena Akeroyd

Image
Rachel by Serena Akeroyd It took a death for me to realize a hard truth: I'm not just the Sinners' lawyer. They're not just clients. They're family. But my family is broken, torn apart by politics and dangerous factions who want to control us. It's no longer enough to stick to the sidelines. It's not enough to be the face of the law amid the MC. It's time to ascend. Rex needs his First Lady. It's time to rain hell. Book TWO in The Last Bachelor Duet! My Review: My rating: 5 of 5 stars This book is really good, and I'm hoping that she continues the series, and we get the rest of the main characters that showed up in the previous books I loved that she and rex finally got there Happily ever after and know that they have their two kids, and she Wasn't so afraid the second time around.

Review: Wonder Girl: A Why Choose Hockey Romance by Charm Harlow

Image
Wonder Girl: A Why Choose Hockey Romance by Charm Harlow My college hockey player ex cheats on me with my best friend. So I hook up with his heroes who rule the NHL team that rejected him. When my best friend loses her voice because my boyfriend made her — and I quote — “scream so much”, I’m done with dating, not to mention very done with hockey players, and one of the first things I do as a single geology student is sit alone miserable in a bar, drinking a mojito. Enter Sean Campbell, Brady Hayes and Noah Hughes, this year’s giant, sexy NHL finalists, and my night does a complete 180 to the ire of my ex. The Toronto Icy forwards help me forget my troubles and leave me wanting more, so I find myself agreeing to fly down to Chicago with them for their final game. It’s nothing serious because in this house, we don’t let hockey players in anymore, let alone popular NHL players who have women constantly throwing themselves at them. But I melt like butter with each look that b
